Chili con Carne
For 4 people :
Ingredients
- 500g of ground beef
- 1 can of tomato paste
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- Salt and pepper as needed
- 1 can black beans, drained
- 1 tablespoon of chili powder
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
Preparation
- Brown the ground beef in a pan
- Add onion, garlic and tomatoes to the meat
- Continue cooking while stirring in the can of tomato paste.
- Cook for 2 minutes and add water and chili powder.
- Add salt and pepper to taste
- Cook for 20 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally
- Add the black beans.
- Cook for another 15 minutes and reduce to obtain a creamy sauce.
